Our Mission: 

The WeSport project is at the forefront of driving social change in local communities, sports clubs, and organizations. Our main goal is to: 

Challenge Gender Stereotypes: We aim to raise awareness about gender identity stereotypes in sports. 

Combat Discrimination: We focus on understanding and addressing gender identity racism and its social consequences. 

Promote Inclusivity: Our core message is that “Sports have no gender.” Everyone should feel free to participate in any sport without fear of being labelled or discriminated against. 

Our Approach: 

At WeSport, our approach is centred on transformative education within the sports community. We empower sports coaches and teachers through the Education Through Sport (ETS) methodology, equipping them with tools and insights to foster respect and inclusivity towards all gender identities. By developing and implementing the ETS TOOLKIT, and integrating its principles into local programs, we aim to create a ripple effect of change. This strategy is not just about teaching sports; it’s about shaping a sports culture that celebrates diversity, promotes understanding, and builds a community where everyone, irrespective of their gender identity, feels valued and included.
